The Skelligs Retreat is pleased to have received planning consent from Kerry County Council – paving the way for work to begin on site at Ireland’s newest wellness retreat.
All work will be sensitively planned and designed to ensure the use of sustainable materials where possible and provide stunning facilities in line with the original farm setting.
Once again, we want to take the opportunity to thank the local community, partners and other stakeholders for their support and hard work in getting the project to this stage. Not a single objection was lodged for The Skelligs Retreat and we will continue to work closely in consultation with the local community to make sure the Retreat offers benefits for all.
Next steps for The Retreat
Over the coming months we will be working with local partners to build a busy programme of activities available for visitors, giving our guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in the local culture alongside on-site activities to support the mind and body.
From local walks and cycle trails, to cultural workshops and ancient crafts, we’re actively seeking to build relationships and partnerships that can help showcase this stunning part of the world.
If you have any ideas, or if you have any questions about our plans, please do get in touch at interest@skelligsretreat.ie.
