A HIDDEN GEM ON THE EDGE OF THE WORLD
NESTLED IN A QUIET CORNER OF SOUTH WEST IRELAND
This truly is like no other place on earth.
Unparalleled for spiritual healing and energy, an oasis of comfort and calm.
Skelligs Retreat sits on St Michael’s spirit line, an ancient ley line that connects sacred sites starting at Skellig Michael, across to the UK, over through Europe and finishing close to Nazareth.

The Skelligs
Our guests have the best possible view of The Skelligs, the famous rocks that rise from the Atlantic Ocean, including Skellig Michael, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The Skelligs mark the start of St Michael’s Line, which runs from Ireland to Israel, uniting seven monasteries and shrines dedicated to St. Michael.

St Michael’s Line
In Catholic tradition, St Michael acted as the defender of the Church and the opponent of Satan. Legend says that this spiritual ley line represents the blow that he inflicted upon the Devil when he cast him into Hell.
Many visitors to this unique part of the world are quick to confirm the
belief that its unique energy provides spiritual healing powers.

Ring of Kerry
The entrance to the retreat is just a stone's throw from the Skellig Ring,
which itself is connected to the famous Ring of Kerry, a 95-mile loop that provides a pathway to breathtaking Atlantic Ocean views, the Killarney National Park and the famous ‘craic’ of some of Ireland’s oldest pubs.
The Ring of Kerry also overlaps with the Wild Atlantic Way, one of the
longest defined coastal routes in the world with 1,600 miles (2,600 km) of breathtaking scenery.

Our unique climate
When you come to Skelligs Retreat, prepare to be faced with nature’s elements in every sense. The farm is located on the edge of the wild Atlantic coast, often nicknamed by locals as the edge of the world.
There's a good chance it'll rain, but you don't come to Ireland for the weather. You come for the experience, the culture, the heritage and of course your health and wellbeing. We’ve got you covered with umbrellas to spare, but expect to experience the true climate of County Kerry.
